19 MONTHS AND STILL WAITING

- Came on a visitors visa in Dec. 2003 after deciding to leave hubby coz
of abuse.
- In 2004 wrongly advised and applied for student visa and refused.
- In 2004pproached a solicitor and gave him all evidence of abuse from
socilitor, doctors
and police I brought from back home but did not have cash to pay him.
- 2005 paid him and also gave him postal orders to send HO with my
application.
- 2007 discovered solicitor had lied to me, did not send the visa
application as a victim of
domestic abuse to HO
- Dec 2007 approached another solicitor who then send application
- April 2008 married British citizen i have been living with since 2006 and
solicitor
decided to send spouse visa application while domestic abuse case was
still pending.
- May 2009 my hubby contacted MP and HO wrote back in June saying
case been
assigned to Liverpool Charged Case Work Team 9 and they have a
target to clear all
cases in its cohort by July 2010.
- July 2009 reported the first solicitor to OISC to be investigated and has
so far attended Court to answer all charges as he was not qualified to
give immigration advise and all information has been sent to HO by MP.
- Aproached MP again in October and he wrote to say he will get touch
when HO contact him.
- Phoned HO on January 05, 2010 and was told they have not yet made
any decision.

Is there anyone else who has been waiting as well and any advise on what to do to make application process faster.
