Dependant Query - Currently on Tier 1 General (Extension)

Hi All,

Me and my wife we both are on Tier 1 General. I am planning to apply for extension can I apply my wife visa also as an Dependant Applicant. We actually got married recently in India but we both where in UK before marriage under Tier 1 General no dependant visa. Now can I apply for extension including her application as dependant and what proof do i have to give?

is BIA give recognition to India Marriage Certificate?

She cannot make an application for Tier 1 (General) dependent from within UK. She will have to return to her home country to do so.

UKBA recognise marriage certificates. But for your specific case, your wife needs to apply her dependent visa from India.

Indian marriage certificate is sufficient enough but she has to go back and apply from India.
