I was wondering if anyone could help me with a query i have on behalf of my aunt from Pakistan.
She has recently been given her 6 months visit visa to come to the UK. However, when handing in the passport to be stamped (January 2010) she specifically asked if the visa could be stamped from April 2010 as she does not intend on travelling to the UK until May/June 2010 and is looking to return August 2010. A formal letter was attached stating why she intended on travelling in May - family commitments in Pak until scholl holidays etc.
However, she has had her passport stamped from mid January to mid July 2010. She is a bit disappointed as she wanted to attend a family wedding in the UK which does not take place until the end of July.
Is there anything that can be done or should we complain that the request was not considered as i believe you can ask for your visa to be stamped 3 months later?
