ILR / ILE application from outside the UK when on holiday

Hi
I am a British citizen (acquired through long residence), and my wife who holds an Indian passport is on 2 year spouse visa. We have been married for 8 years. The 2 year period ends in June 2010. Therefore she becomes eligible to apply for ILR in May 2010. We have to travel to India for 3 months beginning April 2010, so she won't be able to apply for ILR before we leave. Will it be possible for fer to apply for ILE at the British High Commission in India provided she has KOL?

No she will not be able to apply in India.It has to be in UK.

I would strongly advise that you reschedule your holiday untill such time your wife gets her ILR.

If you apply in person, you will get it quick,otherwise it could take up to 2-3 months
