Skype evidence

Post by ElizabethB » Fri Jan 29, 2010 4:04 pm

Hi all

Will be applying for spouse visa (will be married at that point).

This might be a bit of a micro-detailed question, but if you can help that would be great.
I mainly contact my fiance when I am in UK and he is abroad by 'Skype Out' - using Skype to call his mobile number. I have contacted Skype to ask for call logs but all they can give is an excel spreadsheet with the data on it - not anything on headed paper. Would this be sufficient?

Is there any point in including the sponsor's Experian Credit report with the application

Thanks in advance for all your help,

ElizabethB

You can do a print screen shot of your call logs on skype. No need for the credit report.
I tell it like it is.

Thanks Elena, that's really helpful to know. You always have such good advice!

But for calls made before the last six months, you can't do a screen print... so then would have to take this .csv or excel file from Skype & they don't do it on headed paper *humph*

Do the calls not show up in your history when you log on? I just checked out my skype history and it has calls I made yesterday. Are you sure you can't access them?

Anyways I don't think it would be that big of a deal if you just sent in the spread sheet they are willing to do for you.

Yeah you can access them up to six months before today, but any further back you can't access them. I think I will send the spreadsheets plus emails I made to skype asking them for the headed paper version. Phew! There's so many things to get together isn't there?!

oops sorry I misunderstood about the 6 months thing. I'm pretty sure what you have will be totally fine. Good thinking about the emails to skype too! Yeah there are tooooooooo many things to collect and send. Did you send your partner any emails? You can always use a print screen shot of those. Or maybe a few letters through the post?
