ILE/R Application

The HO recently wrote to me and advised me that myself and my 15 year old son were being considered for ILE/R as we had been in the UK since mid 1999 under a one-off exercise for family asylum applications.

We duly returned the completed forms.

Will someone please advise me what will happen now, how long is this currenlty taking? What form of document will I receive back? An ID type card, letter??? Stamp in my passport?

My passport was lost failry early on in my original application process by my lawyer so I am worried that my lack of passport may predudice a swift ILE/R approval.

Would someone please advise what I might expect to happen.

If your ILR/E application is succesful, you should hopefully get the blue 'UN convetion ' refugee passport - so it does not matter if you lost your passport - so long as there is another way of proving your nationality
