HSMP - Some queries - Urgent......

Post by hsmp_aspi » Wed Feb 03, 2010 6:23 am

Hi friends,

This might be a repeat post but please request your responses.

I am applyng for HSMP in Feb 10. My queries are as below -

1. The period of earnings that I plan to show is Dec 08 to Nov 09. Hence, in the bank statement, only one month salary would be reflected. I have changed the job in Dec, and I do not want to show the earnings from my present organisation in the application. Would this have any impact in my application?

2. I recieve the bank statements by post. Do I need to get these bank statements signed and stamped by the bank? Is there any other letter from the bank which I need to attach with these bank statements while filing the application?

3. For one bank, I do not have the statements sent to me by the bank but instead have a pass book which contains the transaction details. In this case, what option do I have?

4. Are Fixed deposits acceptable? These are term deposits which I can encash anytime.

Thanks in advance

- If you mean each month bankstatement reflects 1month salary - YES and No, it will not have any -ve impact on change of job..

2. I recieve the bank statements by post. Do I need to get these bank statements signed and stamped by the bank? Is there any other letter from the bank which I need to attach with these bank statements while filing the application?

- NO need to

3. For one bank, I do not have the statements sent to me by the bank but instead have a pass book which contains the transaction details. In this case, what option do I have?

- Can you get an electronic copy/ print at the bank and get it signed and stamped BUT if that month falls in ur Maintenance funds period than you need to get a proper letter from Bank to be on "safeside" (presuming this bank is out of UK)..

4. Are Fixed deposits acceptable? These are term deposits which I can encash anytime.

- Yes they are but as mentioned above a proper letter from the bank stating the same is required.. pls handle the maintenance funds part carefully if in doubt ask here.. many will reply

Thanks in advance

Thanks a lot for ur replies......

What is the requirement that states that the salary from the employer must be traced to the bank statements? Is this requirement specifically for earnings or for maintainence funds?

Thanks in advance.
