BARCLAYS VISA DEBIT CARD(BUSINESS) PAYMENT

Hi guys,

I have submitted the information for payment of my Tier1(general) visa fee of my Barclays Visa debit card (Business, as it is on my business account). Is Visa debit card ok for payment because i have just come to know, its not mentioned on the application form. Honestly i am extremely worried about it because i was thinking the visa debit card will be ok. i posted the file on 27-01-10, received by 28-01-10 and the amount has not yet been deducted from my account.My VISA Expiry date was Feb01,2010.So if payment does not clear by this card, i'll be the dead man becaused that was the last choice i had.
Plz advice that is this debit card ok for payment? (Barclays Visa Debit card)

Do you know the limit on your debit card? Is it more than what you are required to pay for fee?? Could be that the limit is lower than the fee and in that case the bank would have declined the transaction.

I used a Barclays Visa Debit card and it was fine, as the above poster said unless you have a limit on transaction size then as long as you have the funds and wrote down the correct details then it will be fine.

What is the update on your fees payment? I have almost exactly the same case. i used citibank visa debit card and the payment has not yet gone through. I posted my application on 28th Jan and the tracking shows that it was delivered on 29th Jan.

After reading the payment methods, I have almost started thinking that my documents would be returned because of non-payment due to visa debit card.

Please let me know update about your case.
