Does the policy guidance state that salaried employees are allowed to do so - submit a letter from accountant?queryseeker wrote:Can I get a letter from an Accountant stating that I received the exact amount that I am claiming.
Yeah try what ramesh suggested. Seems to be a good idea.tvn_ramesh wrote:Can you get your payslips signed by any of your reporting Manager (with name/desig/contacts) and give the same contact details in your applications so that if HO wants to cross checked.. he can confirm ur employment and signs on the payslips.. (though HR is the ideal person to do this..)
i am giving this advice because i used Employer letter from one of the Manager who is not even my same dept.. who signed and gave his contact details.. even that worked...
i am sure every organization has kind hearted Managersgoodluck
seems to be good idea for tier1 aspirants when HR is not cooperative.aruni4470 wrote:Yeah try what ramesh suggested. Good point nksg.. but nothing is impossible..nksg wrote:But the problem is Manager may or may not have the official stamp. I too faced the same issue but i got away with my HR asking them to issue with one letter with salary breakdown monthwise.. required for housing loan. The letter was addressed to Bank with complete address .. but i mentioned that on my cover letter.

tvn_ramesh, when you got the letter signed by your Manager, was it on your company's letter head or did you just get his signature on a normal paper (without the company's seal or stamp) on it.
The reason Home office asks to provide the contact details of all your evidences is: Incase of any doubt they can call the respective dept and confirm the authenticity of the evidence..queryseeker wrote:Should the contact person who I mention in the application be the same as who signed the Salary letter on Company letter head?
What is the probability that BO will call the respective person? Do they call only in case of a query or do they call for every application? I am an Indian citizen, currently working in US. I am applying for Tier 1 from US (As I am working for an Indian company all my contacts will be available only during Indian hours)
In that case give your Manager's Contact details and prepare him with ur employment details.. so that he know wat to expect..queryseeker wrote:Hello Ramesh,
Should I provide the same contact details of the person who signs my salary letter or is it ok if I provide my Manager's number? The person who will be signing my salary letter will be our company's HR.
Moreover, does the HO mention that they are calling in to verify for Tier1 visa? ( I know this is quite absurd to ask...but just wanted to confirm as nobody else at my office knows that I am applying for Tier 1 and I am going to tell my Manager that I will be applying for a visitor visa in UK)
