Tier-1 Dependant Visa Application

I am living in UK for 7 months on Tier-1 visa. I entered into UK on Jul 1st, 2009. Now I would like to bring my family(wife and a child) to UK on dependant visa.

I am planning to apply for them in the 1st week of July this year (July 2010). (I will complete 12 month in UK on Jul 1st, 2010) Can you please tell me how much do I need to maintain in my account as funds for dependants?

1. 533 x 2 + 800 = 1866 GBP starting from Apr 1st, 2010 to Jul 1st, 2010
OR
2. 1600 x 2 + 800 = 4000 GBP starting from Apr 1st, 2010 to Jul 1st, 2010.

If applying after completing 12 months in UK, then 800 (migrant) + 533 (for each dependent).

Latest 3months period to be maintained is 1st April - 30th June n u should have this period bankstatements..

I don’t think he has to maintain 800 for 3 months for himself. As he is in UK for 12 months only maintain 533 * 2 for 3 months and at the time of application, he should have 533* 2 + 800 on his account.

Also please note that PBS dependent application form is a common application form for initial application and extension so there are some ambiguous statements in Page 9. I think 800 pounds for 3 months if main applicant is also applying along with the dependent for an initial application. The same application form is used for this.

Otherwise 800 pounds for self at the time of application is enough. and this worked out well with me for my HSMP dependent visa (Not Tier 1)application.

Apart from the earlier suggestion..

Latest 3months period to be maintained is 1st April - 30th June n u should have this period bankstatements..

It is confirmed that you need to show 800 (migrant) + 533 (for each dependent).if applying after 12months completion

800GBP should be maintained in the account for 3 months with dependants funds?

800+533 should be maintained for 3months in the main applicants account or Jaccount with dependent.. and also 533 can be maintained in dependents own account.. these are the options..

But please read the following discussion which says something else but we want to be on safer side..
