HELP REGADING IMMIGRATION

Post by omiifti » Wed Feb 10, 2010 1:20 am

Hi friends,

Hope u all are fine. Me and my wife both want to get our self as immigrant to Canada. I have no blood related relative there. But my wife's maternal uncle is living there along with his family as an immigrant for the last 6 years. As far as I know it requires 67 points to apply for immigration to Canada. I am:

30 yrs old
Have completed 4 yrs honors graduation and 1 year post graduation
Have 2 yrs working experience
Have no IELTS score
Have no blood relative

My wife is:

28 yrs old
Have completed 3 yrs honors graduation and 1 year post graduation and 1 year B.Ed course
No working Experience
Have no IELTS score
Have maternal uncle

Would you plz help me to calculate how much points we have achieved ?
What type of immigration will be easier for us?

Thanx
omi

How is your wife's uncle related to your wife? e.g. - mother's real brother; mother's first cousin; mother's second cousin, etc. etc.

Good place to start: Immigrating as a worker: am I eligible?

Your wife doesn't qualify for family class immigration. So, the only option available to you, if you qualify for it, is Skilled Class Immigration.
