Post by shanya » Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:49 am

hi my husband has been in uk for four years now, initially as student and from last june as tier 1 migrant.we got married last month and i had applied for dependent visa but was rejected on grounds that detailed bank transactions were not shown.now when reapplying i would like to know what is the level of funds that is to be maintained?since he has been in uk for more than 12 months his funds has to show 1600 or 533 pounds?or is it like (1600/533 + 800)pounds for last three months?he is currently in uk.so i will be applying only for me from india. If you know the exact amount, kindly let me know.

Yes that is the requirement. And in your case it would be 800+533
but was rejected on grounds that detailed bank transactions were not shown
Can you tell what excatly was written in the rejection letter? Didnt you have statements from the bank ?

I had submitted bank statements but unfortunately the statements did not show everyday transactions but only the withdrawn, paid in and balance amount. The refusal letter says that they acknowledge the balance but cannot approve because the transactions are not there.
