Earnings in India, salary slip/income tax ack form/form 16

Post by ravi252 » Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:51 pm

I need 30 points from Earnings category to qualify Tier1 General visa.

I know the gross salary for 12 continuous months should be RS. 4 lakh (5472 pounds * 5.3 = 29,000 pounds = 30 points).

The question is what documents would be accepted? ( read forum and documents)

1) salary slip showing gross salary (has net salary also after deductions)
2) income tax ack form has gross salary but it is less than salary slip after excluding some allowances.
3) form 16 (personal tax return) has gross salary but less than salary slip for same reason
4) Bank statements has net amount paid each month salary

While I have total 4 lakhs as salary for continuous 12 months as salary slip. However income tax, bank statement, form 16 all has around total 3.2 lakhs because of deductions.

I seek your advise if I would qualify for 30 points or 25 points based on the scenario. I thank you in advance for taking time in writing the feedback. I appreicate the help.

You calculate points according to the gross salary on your payslip and the net salary on the payslip should match the amount credited into bank account each month.

In the above scenario you just need to submit your
1. Original Payslips (If not original, stamp & sign from employer)
2. Original Bank Statements (matching the net amount on the payslips for all the months you are claiming to the amount credited)

No need for form 16 or income tax ack.

Thanks. I got it.

I will calculate points based on gross salary for 12 continous payslips.

And I will also make sure the net salary on payslip match bank statement for each month credited from the company.
