would you include this in documents? - unmarried partner

Post by Jhulley » Wed Feb 17, 2010 12:55 am

Hi there

Just wondering if you would include records of emails/contact etc during a time when my unmarried partner went to visit his family over Christmas (it was longer than a normal holiday - about 4 weeks, mainly because he flew on points and had to work around the blackout dates near the holidays.)

Should I include this or will it highlight the fact that we did not travel together (not that vacationing apart is bad! Im just being paranoid I think). More so would this be information overkill/overload?

Thanks again for all your help!

4 weeks isn't a very long time. Usually evidence of intervening devotion should be provided after about 3 or 4 months. If it will make you feel better you should include the info but not too many pages or tons of content in the emails.
I tell it like it is.

Yah I thought 4 weeks wasnt too long either. I may include it with the application. I think I just don't want to draw attention to the fact that we were apart - or overwhelm them with information!

Mind you if they look at the passports they will see the times he has been in and out - so maybe its better to put something in.

Thanks!
