Student. Problems after allowed appeal

Post by waqarm4 » Thu Feb 25, 2010 10:25 am

My name is Waqar Munir. I need information about Student Visa. I applied for Student visa on Jan 2008. Unfortunatly my visa application was refused, then i submitted appeal against decision and my appeal was allowed on Oct 2008. My previous selected college was Lonond Reading College and course was Diploma in Information Security(duration 1 year). After implementation of tier 4 system, London Reading College is permanently removed from list. Now i have to select A rating college from Tier 4 Colleges list. But i want to change my course in same field. Now i am interested in Diploma in Information Technology(duration 1 year) after appeal allowed. I want to change my course on the basis on previous visa application documents.
Previous selected couse title was Diploma in Information Security (Duration 1year) .After allowed appeal i am interested in couse title Diploma in Information Technolog (Duration 1year)
This question is, i can change my course title (in same IT field) or i will need to apply for a new visa for a new course?

Second question is, if, visa application process, my selected college's licenced is permenently cancalled then what would be my application status. In this situation my visa application would be refused unless allowed applea or visa officer would ask me to resubmit a new addmission letter from another A rating college?

My response is based on my understanding of the immigration rules and common sense. Am I 100% sure? No, because I have not been in such a (unique) situation. Even immigration lawyers might not be 100% sure (unless they want to rip you off)..

A student EC application is dependent on a confirmation from the University / College that the student has been accepted to a said course and that EC be granted to him to allow him to join the course in the UK. Right? So if you want to join a new college and a new course, how can you expect that you be allowed entry in to the UK on your previous EC application (that was granted to you for joining a different course at a different college .. (which is not even a valid sponsor for Tier 4 purposes anymore).

regards

May be you thinking right but............

Let me explain you when my visa application was refused on Jan 2009 then there was no tier 4 system. Now my appeal has been allowed so i can change college but i don't know that i can also change course title in same field. I am 100 per sure about the changing of college because i will apply on my previous application.

According to new rulers and regulations my college should be A rating list and also would be registered DFES.
