That should be no problem could even do it for a year we can get together over 10 thousand pounds - what do you think the chances are of them giving my wife a visa in that case? Should I write a letter explaining everything too?

Mikey I'm a bit confused. Do what for a year?

£10,000 in savings is a good amount. If you can save that much then I would say you will definitely meet the financial criteria.

Yes you will need to write a letter explaining everything if it's not self explanatory or if there's anything that may be suspicious such as a large deposit in your account all of a sudden. It's always best to have evidence supporting your explanations though.
