uk passport by decent

uk passport by decent

is there anyway to get UK passport by decent. the grandfather was english born in 1919, the son was granted UK passport at the age of 28 and now he wants to pass on his brit nationality to his 9 and 5 year olds. Are they eligible, they were all born in Brazil except the grandafather

No, via father only if British by birth. Ur father is British by decent. Where does the father live now?

What part of the UK was the grandfather born in? If he was born in Northern Ireland, his grandchildren would qualify for Irish citizenship through FBR.

Irish citizens automatically have right of abode in the UK.

I'm trying to do this at the moment, but can I find any birth in GF's name in Ireland except one in wrong county....
