Delay in Review - I think my file has been lost :(

Post by farazfastian » Mon Jan 30, 2006 9:34 am

Review Details
-----------------

Applied for Review: 29 Dec, 2005
Review Received: 03 Jan, 2006

I called them 1 week after review received date, they told me its not being assigned to any caseworker. Today i called them again and now they are saying that we are waiting for thier Documents Storage Department to come up with my file, so now they'll send followup to them on my request. I'm affraid they have lost my documents :(

This is really strange. Plz comment...

regards
faraz

Dont loose hope, they havent said its been lost, so dont make any assumptions until you know for sure. You have waited quite a bit for a positive result to your application, give it a few more days. There is no way for you to say one way or another whats happening. For all you know they could have issued a request for your file which was not followed up for whatever reason by their storage department. It does not mean they have lost your file. Give it a few more days

well my first review experience is very bad uptil now, its been 2 months now and no reply from hsmp team. In this period i'v contacted them 3-4 times via email/phone and since last 1 month they are saying its under process, although u all know my case was straight forward. But still i'm pretty confident that inshallah one day it'll be an approval.
