Sponsoring family members to UK

Can I sponsor two set of family members within a span of six months to UK. I wish to sponsor my parents in may for couple of months and then my in laws in September 2010. Would the second application for my in laws be in danger because I had sponsored my parents in May? Please help me with this dilemma.
