Travelling to UK on HSMP

Travelling to UK on HSMP

I have HSMP valid from April 2009 to April 2012 (Till date i have not traveled to UK on this HSMP visa)
Presently I am in India and recently i got job in UK and planning to travel to UK at end of this month. I am single and travelling alone.

Can you please let me know what all formalities i need to get completed before travelling e.g. Medical Checkup etc.

Get a chest x-ray for TB done and carry it along. Also carry all the documents you used to get your HSMP in your hand luggage. Nothing much apart from that...

Actually one of my friends told me that if you dont enter UK within 3 months of Visa approval you will not be allowed to enter again (that scared me)
Secondly I need to get complete medical examination done.
Lastly I need to have an offer letter beforehand.

Not true, you can enter UK anytime as long as you have a valid visa

Not necessary. Even getting the x-ray done is not mandatory. If you get it done then it will save a couple of hours at the immigration.
Lastly I need to have an offer letter beforehand. The whole point of HSMP/Tier 1 (g) is that you dont need a sponsor, you can come here without a job and search for a job. so, there is no point to say that you need to have offer letter to come.

what is the nature of the job u have got and how did you get your hands on it ?

also what date in end of march are u going to UK ?

My job is of software consultant and got exp by working with one of the best IT companies.... I am travelling on 30th-Mar-2010.
