Since she has valid visa she can travel to india and come back and can apply for her Tier2(G) Visa..

But you have to understand that if she already got the Certificate of Sponseship.. it will be valid only for 3months from the date it has been issued..

well, has she completed her studies already . if yes, then she might not be allowed back in UK on student visa because she has finished her course! and there is no legal reason for her to come back in uk i.e. student visa was issued for her to study in uk and she completed her studies and went back home which is what expected by the HO

my dear gentleman arsenal49-: my question was very simple . she has got a student visa and employer ready to sponsor her on Tier-2. once she gets the reference number [Tier-2] can she apply for Visa in India ? instead of applying here? there were in country and out country WPs in the past.
