pls help regarding ILR application....

i applied for hsmp on 1st april 2006 and i requested sar from UKBA to confirm that i applied on 1st april 2006 so that i can apply for ILR. but they send me my application form dated received 4th april 2006. the version of hsmp form i used was 04/05. i aksed for date of application as they retain copy of envelope but they dint had and asked me to phone immigration advise bureau. i am stuck here as i dont know whether to apply for ILR or not.
applied hsmp 1st april 2006
approval letter 28th april 2006
date stamped 13th june 2006.
please help
as i havnt got any proof of posting and they dont have any record of my date of application

1st April 2006 was saturday, r u sure u sent u documents on saturday and if so how did u send it. Have you got proof of payment from credit or debit card. that might be useful.

application recieved by payment handling service was 4th april and i post it on saturday with special delivery ,i am surprised aswell why it reach on 4th and not 3rd april. also i used the form version 04/05 which was valid till 2nd of april after 3rd april application has to be done on new form

i call ukba today rearding my case and advisor inform me that if ukba does not have proof of posting than its up to you how you can provide or convince case worker that you have applied before 3rd april 2006.
if someone can let me know about form version of hsmp used during 3rd april to 7 november 2006 that would be great
