**HELP* UK Visitor Visa for a US Visiting Indian National !!

Post by ravishankarurp » Tue Mar 16, 2010 8:44 pm

My Father-in-Law is in the US visiting his Son there... We are planning to get him to the UK on a visitor visa...

Can he apply for the visa from US itself?

What are the chances of getting through this??

Anyone had a similar experience???

But there is a field in the application form which says

8.1 If you are not a national of the country in which you
are applying, what permission do you have to stay in that
country?
Please provide evidence of your immigration status if you are not
a national in the country where you are applying, e.g. a residence
permit, visa, green card

So does that mean he can apply from the US?
