If someone with ILR stays out of the UK for longer than 3 years, what happens on their return? What visa do they have? Do they have to wait two years (on marriage visa) and pay another £1000 to get ILR status again?

Your help and advice will be very much appreciated! :)

Well they have to apply as returning residents(Not sure).
