Student Visa VS Immigration

Hello Moderators,

I have applied for Immigration to Canada in Year 2004. I haven't heard from CHC so far.
Now i am planning to go to Canada on Student Visa. I have already appeared in IELTS and will be applying to Colleges for PG Diploma course in Canada.
My Question is will CHC have any problems regarding issuing me Student Visa since i have already applied for Immigration.

Thanks Rely for your feedback. You really made me feel comfortable.

But i heard from so many people that CHC would surely have doubts while granting me Student Visa as i have already applied for Immigration.
According to student visa, person is supposed to come back after studying there whereas immigration is totally 360 degree opposite.
I hope my whole efforts and hard work to get admission in Canadian Colleges' doesn't go down the drain.

Would be obliged if Moderators can too pass on their comments on the same.

Hullo,
Student visa and immigrant visa these are two differewnt categories.For student visa you are going to study there so you have to meet the requirements of it.Onus is on you to prove that you are going to study there.If visa officer is satisfied with it you will be issued student visa.
Mention in the form about your pending immigrant file.
