I believe the answer is no. Unless stock market earnings is your primary form of earnings. If it is, I suppose you would use the documentation similar to that of a self-employed person.

I could be wrong, but it is a similar circumstance to rental income. The guidance notes clearly state that rental income cannot be included as part of your earnings unless it is your primary form of income.
