T2 Change of Sponsor

Hi There

I am currently on T2 Intra Company Transfer (ICT) in UK. I have got a better offer from another UK company. They are sponsoring my T2 Gen Visa.

The Labour market test period of one month is about to complete and I am going to get my CoS.

I have the below mentioned doubts regarding visa

1. My new employer says that it is better to apply from India as I can get my Visa stamped in 5-9 days. Is that realistic?
2. Since I am currently in UK with my dependants and will be going to India to apply for the T2 Gen Visa. Do I need to take them along with me to India to apply for Visa or I can represent them in the Indian VFS centre? I was worried about the Biometrics etc. But that was done also when I initially applied for My T2 Intra Company Transfer. Pls clairfy if i need to take them along to India VFS ?
3. If I apply from UK do I need to first get the Foreign national identity card etc before applying for the Visa ? Aren’t there any premium services to get it done faster here itself in UK to do it faster ?
4. At what stage do I need to inform my existing sponsor ?
5. Will the period that I already spent on T2 ICT count toward my PR ? Is there any break clause that I need to be aware of ?
