ILR from Work Permit

Hello all,

I am due for ILR in May. I am on work permit at present. My work permit was issued under my parent company name but in 2006 my company was acquired by another company. At that time HR said nothing has to be done for my work permit as all the contracts of parent company will transfer to new company.

Now I have my appointment in two weeks time and i am feeling nervous as form says i need a letter from company whose name is on my document. I have spoken to my HR dept. they say they will give me letter and will state that we acquired parent company.

Has anyone ever gone thru this process. Do i need any letter apart from one letter from my company?
