the sponsorship license number is unique to each UKBA approved education provider. So, if you want to get one, you will need to apply to the college/university first and once you are accepted, they will give to their license number for you to use in your student application.

I've been accepted and will apply very soon. I thought UKBA publishes school list and licence numbers. It seems I have to ask the school myself.
