Question on absence w.r.t Indefinte leave to remain

Post by lezzfrancis » Wed Apr 07, 2010 7:31 pm

If I have been away for more than 180 days from UK mostly on business trips, do I qualify for to apply for PR?

All the 5 years I have been employed in the UK and have been paying NI and tax.

yes you will qualify for PR if its a business trip..

There could be more info relevant to your application but nothing is specified under which category you are going to apply under...

I read some where when some one was granted ILR eventhough their absence was 255 days...

So you may have a chance..got to dig for information from all the threads..
