I believe this has just recently been changed to allow co-sponsoring, I'll try and find the official announcement and post it.Casa wrote:A co-sponsor isn't acceptable. Although this was successfully challenged in the the Courts, the UKBA regulations and instructions to ECO's haven't changed and 3rd party financial support is still disallowed...although if challeged at appeal may be successful.
It doesn't matter which account the funds are in...it's assessed jointly.
Remember that your husband won't be able to work until FLR(M) has been applied for and granted after the marriage. A postal application, although much cheaper, can take up to 14 weeks to process.
How are you calculating the minimum amount you have left weekly?
Casa means that after he gets his fiance visa, he will have to change to flr(m) which is done in the UK via post or in person.MissJo wrote:I believe this has just recently been changed to allow co-sponsoring, I'll try and find the official announcement and post it.Casa wrote:A co-sponsor isn't acceptable. That aside for now, he has to apply online in the States, a postal application isn't an option, all be it, you do actually just print the forms off and send them in.
I am taking my salary minus Mortgage, Council Tax and other household bill such as Gas, electric, phone, water rates etc. Not sure if this is correct so any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

You calculate your budget by the following: wage-(rent+council tax+loan repayments)
Thankyou Casa I can see your gonna be pretty sick of me by the time I am done on here if you don't mind me picking your brains a bit moreCasa wrote:If there weren't any questions, there wouldn't be a forum.
You only need to include mortgage (or rent), council tax and any loan repayments.
