Were Tier 1 changes discussed before 18 March 2010?

Post by Nicky09 » Mon Apr 19, 2010 7:05 am

Please help! I've just come back from holiday to find out that Tier 1 (General) rules have changed from April 2010 and I no longer qualify because of the new earnings calculation system.

It's not much consolation, but were these changes discussed or announced anywhere before 18 March when a notice was posted on the UKBA website? I kept trawling through it and through these forums, but I do not remember seeing anything suspicious.

These changes were recommended by MAC in Dec'2009 and were discussed the form as well. I you seach through the form you will get multiple links.

I am sorry to hear that you are no more eligible under new rules.
