What are the chances of my getting a Tier 4 extension?

Post by studentuk » Wed Apr 21, 2010 10:59 pm

My case history:

December 2007 - Got admission for full time accountancy course [6 papers]

Jan 2008 - Got a 1 year student visa.

August 2008 - Entered UK and could attend only half the course [3 papers]

December 2008:- After failing exams I switched to different college and get admission letter for same course [6 papers]

January 2009 - Got extension till June 2010

Present situation: Have only passed 2 papers out 6. Got admission letter for remaining 4 [resit] + another 6 higher level papers of the accountancy course. Yet to apply for a CAS letter from college.

Query:- In a situation where I do manage to get a valid cas letter and also show funds in bank account and manage to score 40 points under PBS what are chances of my getting an approval from HO for a 2 year tier 4 student visa extension?

I think if you have got the CAS letter and have sufficient funds, then there should be no problem. Better to forward your application with your international student advisor on behalf of you.

good luck
