Anyone applied after 6th april - with FD ?

Hi is there anyone who has applied after 6th April (with new rules) with fd as proof of past earnings ?
A friend of mine is very confused whether to apply with fd or not !!

I think you meant FD as proof of maintenance??

I have applied with FD as source of Maintance and got my visa but its before April i.e Mar 8th .
