Pre-seasonal course

Hi,

Consider someone who gets admission for a pre-seasonal course (english course) and a Foundation degree after that. Then, if he could get visa, his wife could work in the UK? In the other words, his visa's conditions are as Pre-seasonal course or main course of study?
