Tier1 same day service appointment booked

Hello folks,

Luckily I have managed to book same day service slot for myself and my wife, i have two quesitons to ask:

1) Could anybody please tell me the procedure how do they run checks etc, whats the normal procedure they carry for same day service.
2) Shall I carry my docs in a pouch and give it them one by one when they ask for, do i need cover letters?

Please help me with above queries and also if any advise you would like to give me.

P.S: I am switching from WP(Intra-Company trasfer) to Tier 1

Thanks for your response, I am more curious to know if a person who had experience appearing for fresh tier 1 application not for extension.
I know its more or less same but still interested to know if any imp to concentrate on.
