Deadline of 120 days to submit suporting docs to visa Offic

Post by adl » Wed Apr 28, 2010 6:51 pm

Hi Everyone,

I have recently lodged my immigration application for Skilled Worker and I have recived email stating my ref.no and other necessary informations about futher application procedure.

I have lodged my application from London Uk now email says I have to submited all supporting document within 120 days to London Visa office.

I do not mind to submit all relevant document instead of IELTS result now
my question is that is that possible that I can submit my IELTS result after 120 days? does it any affact on application?

I am worring about it because email i receved, clearly stated 120 days deadline for all relevant documents.
I will highly appreciate if someone help me out in this regard.

thanks

Do you need IELTS results to get to at least 67 points? If so, I would recommend that you submit that within he time they have asked you to do so.

In the past, they have made exceptions, if you write them a letter, asking for extension. However, recently they have gotten more strict with this. Particularly with language (see web page at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department ... -03-10.asp).

As of April, 2010, you would need to have submitted language proof at the time of application. I am assuming you have applied before April 2010, so you could submit at the time CIC asks for additional information. However, if you fail to provide that proof in a timely manner, CIC may assess your case based on the information they have. If you need IELTS to gain points, you may want to submit the results within the 120 days they have given you.

Thank Ray,

I am scoring 67 points on the basis of my ielts result.

My 120 days finishing on 10th of july and i m thinking to appear in ielts on 15th of july. I am thinking that i would submit ielts result just 20 days gap reason behind it I am not able to find out ielts general training date before than that at my city.
I am hoping they would consider this minor gap and accept my ielts.

please advise me in this regard.

thanks

As I am not an immigration officer at CIC I cant really advice you. You can write them an explanation as to why IELTS is not included and when you will send them. They may accept it. But send rest of the documents in time.

There is really no excuse to have left your IELTS exam for so long since you knew that you would be needing it to get to 67 points. The original documents they need are including your IELTS document and i doubt they would give you more time to submit it.. you can try though.. However, I believe that if you move fast, you could write your IELTS exam and get your result in that time..
