Funds requirement

Post by CDesai83 » Thu Apr 22, 2010 10:42 pm

Dear forum members,
Can anyone let me know how much is a safe figure in CAD$ equivalent that a single person should show for FSW-PR application.

Also will there be any problems if I show the requisite amount as £ in UK bank a/c and INR in Indian bank a/c?

Thanks in advance.

It is about 11,063 canadian dollars for the principal applicant last time I looked.. You can show the equivalent amount in a UK bank account or ann Indian bank account. However, if I am not wrong, you would have to process your application through the Canadian Embassy in India since you are an Indian national..

It would probably be a good idea to show the conversion into CAD for both currencies, based on the exchange rate that day (or favourable rate on a date near to that), to show you have the necessary CAD -

ie £XXXXX @ 1.55 = XXXXXX CAD
