It does not effect your application.

Could you please confirm your visa status while you were in UK? Because commonly students tend to apply for tax refund if they decide to leave UK for good.

Hi Laskk and everyone,

I will be leaving the UK permanently and want to claim tax back. Would you please let me know how to claim income tax back? Can I claim all taxes deducted from my salary last two years? Thanks!

You can claim tax refund for any excess tax paid ... not all the tax you paid during your time in the UK.

Thanks for the reply.
i was in UK for around 3.8 yrs in which i was student for 3 years and last 8 months i was in work permit.
but unfortunately lost the job and came back to my home country. before leaving i contact tax back team and they advice me from their.

Now it has been nearly 2 years i left the UK and in the application form of claiming tax it was mention will you return back to UK with in 12 months, so i said 'NO'. this is the story.

so from you i here that i shouldn't be facing any kind of objection in my application.

Thanks for the info ALI. It sounds good news to me!!

And also looking for the other persons advices.

Mean while the other person who ask me about the tax claiming their are lots of agency who do this kind of works. just do little home work on browsing net, you will find lots of them available for you and also related information what you are looking.

Cheers
