Previous earnings.....points calculation & accuracy

Post by Srikanth Reddy » Sun May 02, 2010 3:09 pm

Hi Frnz..

I am planning to apply for Tier 1 on 1st week of Aug. My calculator says:

Age: 29 (will be 30 on Aug 25th 2010), will it be a risk considerin i will be placing my application on or before 5th Aug. (20 points)
Education: B pharm (30 points) Has post graduation Diploma from UK univ which was awarded on Oct 2004, i cant not claim any points with this,,,but does this have any value add to my application
Previous earnings:
Fixed Gross compensation: 4.5 Laks (mentioned in my offer letter)
Joining Bonus: 45k (mentioned in my offer letter) in pay slip as well
Varaible pay: 28k (pay slip as well as hasa letter on this)
Notice buy out: 13k (pay slip)

Altogether my earnings will be 5.31 lakhs which is falling under band 39900 -45000 pounds giving me points 25 points

Problem:

If i go with sum of gross earnings with 12 salary slips, it is 4,77000..minus Medcal & LTA which is not part of pay slip. i

Is it that only pay slip gross regarded by case worker/ offer letter from employer mentioned on fixed annual gross pay will do...im confused on this

As desired, i get exactly 75 points in credentials.

My question to seniors is, the earning which i displayed above are acceptable or not.

Please guide me..plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Offer letters cannot be used as evidence of *earned* income. They state what you *may* earn (in future) ... and not what you *have* earned (in the past).

Thanks Mehta for your reply,

You mean offer letter which says "YOUR ANNUAL FIXED GROSS INCOME IS XXXX" must not be used as source of previous earning; i am producing 12 months pay slips from date of offer letter.

Suggest that you read the Tier 1 (General) policy guidance *carefully* to understand what evidences (for the different attributes) are acceptable.
