Overstay in Greece

i've been overstayed in Greece for over than 3months,and while at the airport, the immigration officer fine me at 1200euros.i told him that i dont have enough cash to pay him,and he told me that i can pay when i come again after 3 months.they not ban me,as i can return again to Greece with 1200euros in my hand.and he also told me that i only have to pay if i only come to Greece.
Does he mean that i dont need to pay if i come to another Schengen country?as i'm soon coming to Switzerland in July.i need to be sure what he said.
any ideas? please help me.tq
btw, i'm a Malaysian nationality and i dont need visa for Schengen country.

Thats one way to fund the deficit.

I would say you will most definately have problems returning to the Schengen Zone.
