Returning to UK

Hello, thanks in advance for any advice.

Accommadation question

I have letter from my parents bank account original stating that the mortgage was paid in full from the bank. The letter is 3 years old. I also have copy of deeds and letter from parents inviting us to stay, plus photos of all the rooms in the house.

Q: Is this enough to get through, and does the letter being old matter?

Maintanance question

I have 3000 pounds in the bank. I will have a further 4000 pounds when I leave my job in June and return to the UK. I have a official letter from my employer stating the amount and why, stamped and signed. I have been transfering half my salary into UK account in preparation for returning to Uk. I have my original bank statements from here showing transfer to UK account. I only have e.statement of the UK account showing the savings. Will the transfer from Abu dhabi account to UK bank be enough proof?

Q: Will immigration calculate the extra 4000 pounds into my financial equasions?

I have 1000 sms on my phone, which I am unable to print off. I have photos and some random emails.

Q: Is it worth just taking a picture of the inbox on my phone?

My husbands works in Dubai and I work in Abu dhabi we see each other as much as we can. I have to return to UK in June 2010 hopefully with husband in toe.

What do you think our chances are, we are both over 21 and I am british citezen with good reason to return to UK

Its best you have an updated one.Go to teh UK land Registry website and go to find the property section and you should be able to download the present tite deed and title plan to download for £8.(sorry your parents should be able to do it as its on their name). The old photos should be enough. A new letter from your parents stating that its ok for you to stay with them would also help. Remember 3 yrs is a long time and things could have changed,so new docs would be helpful.

Yes they will if you provide them as evidence

It should not be that difficult if you provide the correct evidnece with your application

Hi thanks for quick reply.

I have a copy of actual deeds, and a up to date invitation letter. I also have a recent bank account statement and mobile phone contract adrressed to myself at that address. Do you think I still need the title deeds from website, as I am looking to apply in a few days..

I have emails/hotel receipts/bus ticket stubs as we are frequently travelling to and from Abu Dhabi Dubai. I suppose everything helps. My husband is overwhelmed by what we need for this visa and is desperately worried. Forums like this are a huge help and much appreciated.

My husband does not have a bank account due to a controlling boss, power to them selves over here, not much rights, he will provide all other info though. I suppose the ernest is on me.

I am in the middle of purchasing a lease for a already established business in UK which will provide myself and husband with jobs. Do you think its worth mentioning this?

The trouble is it costs so much for this visa not something you can afford over and over, I understand why they have to be so vigourous, but from what I can gather, immigration ultimately dont want your spouse to seek any social funds of any kind, but clearly the spouse is not allowed to claim anyway and probably signs to that fact when they are given a visa. What I'm saying is it seems pointless that they are so worried about it when the spouse can not get it anyway.

Sorry for babbling, any advice gratefully received.

Go overboard if you have to, and just give it everything you've got!
When it comes to visa applications 'more is less'.
They will look at the documents that matter to your case and ignore the rest. So you lose nothing!
