Hi All,
Thanks lot you people to valuable support and guideline on my UK Tier -1 General Visa application process.

I have submitted my visa application on 25 Mar 2010.

Generally how long will take. to get Visa.? I got a message that dispatched to the British High Commission on: 03/26/2010.

Processing time outside UK

Generally if the case is straight forward.. it shd be 10-12working days..

Hi Karuna,

I applied from Indian (Through VFS Pune) Last year and I got it on 15th day.

I guess your application should take the same amount of time.

I applied on 8th March this year and got approval on 23rd March. Just FYI, 15 days are purely 15 working days, don't count weekends and public holidays...!!!

HI,
I have applied 25th of March 2010. But still i didn't get any message alert about my application status, As i know it will take around 10 to 15 day's to get,

But Still i did not get any status updates on my application progress.

on 31st of April i got the below message:
"Your visa Application reference noXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX is under process at the British Deputy High Commission."

Could any one let me know still it required more days to get ? or is there any other way to find the status?

Hi Karuna,
I have applied on 8th March from VFS HYD , and got approval on 23rd March.
This may vary case to case and VFS center to center ..
As your application is under progress state on 31st of march.. You will get your statmped passport very near future (assume your case is straight).

Hi,
I got the message alert like below : "
A decision on your Visa application reference number:XXXXXXXXXXXXX has been made by the British High Commission. Your application has been received at the UK Visa Application Centre and is ready for collection.Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email"

Does it mean that i got the Stamping?
Could some one tell me about the status ?

I applied from VFS Delhi on 23rd March and status still is in under process
dunno wats going on, getting desperate by each passing second....

I have got the Visa stamping on my passport.

My hearty thanks for all you support , help , Guidelines,

I have applier Visa 25 March 2010 morning 9 am at VFS office Chennai.
I got stamped 14 April 2010. Valid till April 2013.

Keep helps others like me applying visa and need guidelines.

Any way again i am saying Thanks to all.This forum is very much helped to me to get the Visa stamping and this saved my 30 K as the visa assessment fee.

When are you flying ??? any job offers?

I have applied on 4th May at VFS Pune... hopefully will get it stamped by 30th May

I have used joint account for funds maintenance ... hope that dznt create problems

If all the things are positive and 100% up to the requirement .. make your face happy , you will get your visa stamped in 15-20 working days .... Always hope for the best .... inform your employer that i have applied for TIER1 .. may be they receive call .. Best of luck ! my friend!!

i hvnt informed my employer yet
actually, if i am refused for the visa,i wanna stay with this employer.
if i say i hav applied, they might think m leaving the company
