ilr dilemma

ilr dilemma

Hi all,

I would appreciate advice on this one please. I shall be applying for ilr at the end of this year.im currently on spousal visa till dec 2010, but currently unemployed as im currently looking after our newborn. im on maternity allowance till August and would like to carry on looking after our little one till Dec as he still will be very young if i went back to work.

is the fact that i will not be working after maternity allowance is over affect my ILR application. my hubby on the other hand will be working full time.
Please help....

Please help....
There is no requirement for the spouse visa holder to be in the employment to qualify for ILR. As long as your husband is working and can support you with out accessing public fund, you should be fine.
