Hi,All
I am doing masters in law. I am on dissertation the last date of submission is 17.07.10 and visa is expiring on 31.07.10 can i apply for visa extension in order to wait for result which will be out in September.
Plz let me know. Crying or Very sad

Try asking your university for an extension letter and let us know the outcome. It is the university which has to decide to give you an extension or not..

Hi Lovejeet,

It happened with me as well. I submitted dissertation on 11th Jan10 and visa was expiring on 31st jan 10. I applied for student extension through college and got a letter from college stating that my course started and ended on such and such dates and that my result is awaited and will be out on such and such date. one the basis of this letter i applied for an extension on 21st of jan10 and I got an extension from 14th march 10 till 14th july 10, however, my result had got declared on 8th march so i applied for psw immediately after i got extension in march.
