Post by Son_of_Soil » Tue May 25, 2010 10:32 am

Hi i am on indian passport and will qualify for ILR in nov 2011 (if cureent rule satys). I want to apply for the canada, but not sure how. i am working as a credit controler from past two year. i checked the canada immigration list of occupation and its is listed under 1435.
i want to know the documents required to apply for and the processing time if i apply from UK.
My wife lived in UK for 6 years before she went to india . She has good work experiance in teaching and Credit control aswell.

Seniors please guide me.

NOC 1435 is not listed in the list of eligible occupations;

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/ ... s.asp#list

In which case, you would either need to:

- Find another eligible occupation you may have experience in
OR
- Find a job in Canada that is approved by HRSDC
OR
- Have lived legally in Canada for at least one year as an employee or a student
