Hi,
I am in a similar situation. I appealed to the AIT which allowed my spouse visa appeal under Immigration rules on 13th May. Afterwards, I looked up the timeline issue and found the following on the UK Visa Pakistan site (
www.ukvacpk.com ) under the Appeals & Administrative Review section. I hope it helps.
What happens if I win my appeal?
The UK Border Agency will aim to process your case within 8 weeks from the date we receive official notification of the immigration judge's reasons for allowing your appeal (called a determination). Please be aware it can take 4 weeks or longer for the determination to reach our visa section. If you have not heard from the UK Border Agency after 12 weeks after receiving your determination, please email us using the address given below. Please do not contact the UK Border Agency before this time.
Email - this is the preferred and the most efficient form of communication:
Abu Dhabi:
appeals.abudhabi@fco.gov.uk
UK visa section:
STE.UKHUB@fco.gsi.gov.uk
Islamabad:
appeals.islamabad@fco.gov.uk
• Mark your correspondence 'Appeal Allowed'
• Include your application reference number (on the original refusal notice)
• Include your appeal reference number (top right hand corner of the determination letter)
• Include the name of the place in the UK where your appeal was heard (top left hand corner of the determination)
Anyone wishing to apply for a UK visa or seeking to re-submit their passport following an allowed appeal, should contact Gerry's call centre to make an appointment at their nearest visa application centre. Access to visa application centres is strictly by appointment only. Anyone arriving without an appointment will not be permitted to enter.
As you can see, these guys can take upto 12 weeks. Moreover, given that there will probably be a massive influx of student visa applications in the coming months, the timelines are going to be even more drawn out.
Regards,
Mesam.
