hi,

My exising Tier 2 (ICT) will be expiring next month, however Im planning to apply for Tier 1 in India before the expiry of Tier 2, in this scenaro , do the continuity of stay is affected for PR ?

You may get away with it if your Tier 1 (General) visa is issued before the expiry of Tier 2 (ICT) visa and you return to the UK within 90 days of departure.

Date of application has no relevance when applying at overseas diplomatic post (unlike in-time applications in UK that extend your close-to-expiry leave until a decision on the application is reached).
