Timescale for Call Letter Category

Post by khanz » Mon Jun 07, 2010 11:41 pm

Hi All,

My mother was refused for uk visit visa last year. After winning the appeal, she re-submitted her passport with Call Letter before Mid March 2010. Its going to be three months and the passport is still with the embassy. I emailed uk embassy abudhabi but they said that they can't give any timescale so just wait. Is anybody else experiencing the situation like this? How long usually embassy takes for Appeal cases. Any advise please?

Thx.

BatleyKhan, thanks for your reply. I have visited the links given by you.

I was renting when I sponsored my mother's visa. Now I have recently moved to a newly bought house. So, as a sponsor, should I inform the embassy about my address and home phone number change?

No because they will not contact you at your address. they will write/phone your mother in Pakistan asking her to bring her passport in. Taking on average 4- 5 months to sort this problem out
