Tier 1 Visa

Hi All,

Quick Question: I am on HSMP tier 1 Visa working in UK for last 1 years. I am married to an Indian girl & would like to bring her to UK. She is currently looking for a job in UK, does anyone know what visa will she be working here?

Does she need to apply for work permit or she can come on dependent visa?

Any help would be great.

I believe she needs to come as a dependant and then apply for NI if she wants to work.

Just wondering if you have any link to share, I knew there was something like dependent visa but i'm not sure if it works for HSMP visa holder also or is it same?

To the best of my knwledge, your dependant should use the following application form

Hi,

Your spouse can apply for Tier1 Partner (Dependent) visa. She can work with any company in UK with this visa.

Once she is in UK, she can apply in for NI number, which can be done prior to job .
